The short answer
The Water Freedom System is a $39.69 digital guide to building a machine that condenses water from air. It is not a filter and has no connection to Freedom Water Systems, a Las Vegas company that sells whole-house water filtration, or to any “Freedom” branded softener, RV or water-heater product. If you want to clean the water already coming out of your tap, you are looking for one of those other products, not this guide.
Which one were you looking for?
| If you searched for… | You probably mean | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Water Freedom System plans, book, reviews, Chris Burns, Richard Wilson | The Water Freedom System guide | A digital DIY manual for a water-from-air condenser. This site covers it. |
| Freedom water filtration system, Freedom whole house water filtration system, Freedom Water Systems Las Vegas, Eco-X | Freedom Water Systems | A water-treatment company based in Las Vegas that sells whole-house filtration and conditioning equipment. |

We are not affiliated with any of the companies in rows two to five and do not review their products. For prices, installation and warranty questions, go to the manufacturer or dealer directly.

Which do you actually need?
- Your tap water tastes of chlorine, is hard or stains fixtures. You need filtration or softening. A water generator will not help.
- You are on a well with contamination concerns. Get the water tested by a certified lab, then choose treatment matched to the results.
- You want water during an outage or shortage. Start with stored water. A condenser is a supplement in humid climates.
- You want a DIY project that makes drinking water from air. That is the Water Freedom System. Read our review and check whether your climate suits it.
Choosing a whole-house filter, briefly
Since many readers land here looking for a filter, three pointers that apply to any brand:
- Test first. Your utility’s annual Consumer Confidence Report lists what is in city water. Well owners should use a state-certified laboratory.
- Look for certification. NSF/ANSI 42 covers taste and chlorine, 53 covers health-related contaminants such as lead, 58 covers reverse osmosis and 44 covers softeners. Certification of the whole system matters more than “tested to” wording.
- Count the running costs. Media and cartridge replacement schedules decide the long-term price more than the sticker does.
Common questions
Is the Water Freedom System a water filter?
No. It is a guide to building a condenser that collects water from air. Filters are part of the build, to clean the collected water, but the product does not filter your tap water.
Is Freedom Water Systems the company behind the Water Freedom System?
No. They are unrelated. The Water Freedom System is sold through ClickBank by an online publisher; Freedom Water Systems is a water-treatment equipment business.
How much does a Freedom water system cost?
Whole-house filtration systems are generally priced from several hundred to several thousand dollars depending on size and stages. Ask the manufacturer for current pricing. The Water Freedom System guide, by contrast, costs $39.69; see its full cost breakdown.
Where can I read reviews of Freedom whole-house filters?
Look at verified-purchase reviews on major home-improvement retailers’ sites and at the Better Business Bureau profile for the company. We do not review those products.
