The short answer
The Water Freedom System plans are a digital manual: illustrated step-by-step instructions, device blueprints and a materials list, plus four bonus guides and email support. They cost $39.69, download from a members’ area after checkout, and can be had as a printed book for an extra $9.95 shipping. The plans describe a refrigeration-type condenser, the same working principle as a dehumidifier, with filtration added. No parts are included.
What we can and cannot tell you
We describe the package from the vendor’s public sales page and from how this class of machine is built. We do not reproduce the manual’s pages or drawings: they are the author’s copyrighted work, and “free PDF” copies offered online are pirated. If you want the actual drawings, buy the guide; the 60-day refund protects you if they fall short.
What is in the Water Freedom System package
From the vendor’s description, checked October 5, 2026:
| Item | Format | Vendor’s description |
|---|---|---|
| Main manual | Digital download | A “comprehensive guide” written with an “over-the-shoulder approach” |
| Blueprints | Digital download | Drawings of the device |
| Step-by-step directions | Digital download | “Full color” illustrated assembly steps |
| Materials list | Digital download | “The full materials list” |
| Four bonuses | Digital download | Emergency Water: Your Survival Guide · Water Storage Secrets · Water Purification and Mineralization · Advanced Water Saving Technologies |
| Support | “Unlimited support” from the author | |
| Printed book (optional) | Mailed | Same content on paper, + $9.95 shipping and handling |
The four bonus guides
The current offer bundles four short guides on water topics. An earlier edition of the product, sold under the author name Chris Burns, came with a different set aimed at general preparedness. The vendor’s own product art shows both.

The bonuses are general-interest PDFs of the kind bundled with most ClickBank survival products. They are not a reason to buy on their own; judge the purchase on the main guide.
Is the Water Freedom System a book or a PDF?
Both are available. The standard purchase is digital: you log in and download the files, which you can read on a phone, tablet or computer, or print at home. The “Physical Book + Digital Product” option adds a printed copy by mail. People searching for the “Water Freedom System book” and the “Water Freedom System PDF” are looking for the same manual in two formats.
What the blueprint describes
The sales page says the device “sucks in humid air and cools it down, much like an air conditioner”. A machine that does that has six functional parts, whatever the exact drawing looks like.
| Part | Job | Where builders get it |
|---|---|---|
| Fan | Moves air across the cold coil | Donor dehumidifier, or a box or inline duct fan |
| Compressor | Pumps refrigerant to make the coil cold | Donor dehumidifier or window air conditioner |
| Evaporator coil | The cold surface where water condenses | Comes with the donor unit |
| Condenser coil | Dumps the removed heat back into the air | Comes with the donor unit |
| Drip tray, tube and tank | Collect and store the water | Food-grade plastic or stainless steel |
| Filtration and disinfection | Make the water fit to drink | Sediment and carbon cartridges, plus a UV lamp |
If you already own a dehumidifier, you own the first four rows. That is worth knowing before you buy anything: the plans add organization, a cabinet design and a water-treatment stage to hardware that is otherwise ordinary.
A typical DIY build, start to finish
These are the stages any home build of this type goes through. Follow the purchased manual for the specifics.
- Check your climate first. Put your summer temperature and humidity into the calculator. If the result is under two gallons a day, stop here.
- Source the refrigeration parts. An intact donor dehumidifier is the simplest and safest route, because the sealed refrigerant circuit stays closed.
- Build the collection path. Replace any non-food-grade tray or hose between the coil and the tank.
- Add filtration. Sediment filter first, activated carbon second, then disinfection.
- Enclose and direct the airflow so that all the air the fan moves passes over the coil.
- Test and measure. Run it for 24 hours with a plug-in watt meter and a marked bucket. Now you know your own liters per kWh.
- Set a cleaning schedule. Coil, tray and tank need regular attention, despite the sales page’s “no maintenance” line.
How long does the build take?
The sales page says “under one hour” in one place and “around three hours” in another. Those figures assume every part is on the bench and nothing needs adapting. A first-time builder should plan a weekend: half a day to gather parts, half a day to assemble, and a day of test running.
Skills and tools you need
- Basic hand tools: screwdrivers, pliers, a drill, a tubing cutter
- Comfort with mains wiring, or a friend who has it
- A plug-in watt meter, to measure real consumption
- A humidity and temperature gauge, to understand your results
Do not cut refrigerant lines
Refrigerant is under pressure and regulated. In the United States only EPA-certified technicians may open a charged system. Keep the donor unit’s sealed circuit intact, or pay a technician for that step.
Before you buy the plans
Three questions decide whether the $39.69 is well spent:
- Is your air humid enough? Dew points above about 60 °F for much of the year make the project worthwhile. See output by climate.
- Do you have backup power? Without it the machine is idle in exactly the emergencies it is bought for.
- Will you treat the water? Untreated condensate is not safe to drink.
Common questions
Can I download the Water Freedom System plans for free?
Not legally. Free copies are pirated, often outdated and frequently bundled with malware. They also carry no refund and no support.
Is the Water Freedom System DIY-friendly for beginners?
The mechanical assembly is within reach of anyone who has put together flat-pack furniture and wired a plug. The refrigeration side is not beginner work, which is why using an intact donor unit is the sensible route.
Do the plans include a parts list with prices?
The vendor says a full materials list is included. Prices vary by region and change over time, so price the list at your own hardware store before starting. Our cost breakdown gives typical ranges.
Are the blueprints for a solar-powered version?
The sales letter mentions an off-grid power source added later. Whether solar is practical depends on size: a 500-watt machine running all day needs roughly 12 kWh, which calls for about 3 kW of panels and battery storage.
