Water Freedom System complaints, and how to get your money back

Nearly every complaint about this product traces back to one gap: what the sales video implies and what a $39.69 manual can deliver. Here are the recurring objections, which are fair, and exactly how the refund works.

The short answer

The most common Water Freedom System complaints are that buyers expected a physical machine and received a digital guide, that output is far below the advertised 60 gallons a day, and that parts and electricity cost more than the sales page suggests. All three are predictable from the product’s design. Refunds are handled by ClickBank for 60 days after purchase and do not require the author’s consent.

About this list

ClickBank does not publish customer reviews, and we found no verified-purchase review platform carrying this product. The complaints below are the objections that recur across independent write-ups and that follow directly from the product’s format and physics. We do not quote individual “customers”, because we cannot confirm they exist.

The six complaints you will see most

1. “I thought I was buying a machine”

Fair. The sales video shows a device and talks about it as “this exact same system”. The order section does say “digital product”, but a viewer could easily miss it. What you receive is a manual, blueprints and a parts list.

2. “It makes nowhere near 60 gallons”

Fair. A home build with a 500-watt compressor makes about 4 to 8 gallons a day in humid weather. Sixty gallons would need seven to ten times the machine and 3.5 to 5 kilowatts of continuous power. See the output analysis.

3. “It does nothing where I live”

Fair in dry climates. In air below roughly 30% humidity on a hot day, a simple cooling coil cannot reach the dew point. The sales page’s “even in the desert” line is the claim most at odds with how condensation works. Check your own conditions with the calculator before buying.

4. “The parts cost more than $200”

Partly fair. With a salvaged dehumidifier the figure is reachable. With new parts and proper filtration, $300 to $550 is typical. The cost breakdown lists each item.

5. “My electricity bill went up”

Fair, and unavoidable. A 500-watt machine running all day uses about 12 kWh, around $2 a day at average U.S. rates. The claim that the system will “slash your water bill” ignores that tap water costs about a penny a gallon.

6. “I was offered more products after paying”

Accurate. The vendor’s ClickBank listing describes an upsell funnel. Extra offers appear after checkout, and each can be declined. Anything you did accept is refundable on the same terms.

Complaints that are not really about the product

  • Lookalike “official” sites. Many sites with near-identical addresses imitate the vendor. Purchases still go through ClickBank, so the refund right is the same, but their support promises mean nothing.
  • Confusion with filter companies. Complaints about installation, softeners or service appointments belong to unrelated businesses with similar names.
  • Pirated copies. Files downloaded from sharing sites come with no support, no refund and sometimes malware.

How to get a Water Freedom System refund

ClickBank is the retailer, so the refund request goes to ClickBank. You have 60 days from the date of purchase.

  1. Find your receipt email. Search your inbox for “ClickBank”. The receipt contains an order number, usually eight characters.
  2. Open ClickBank’s customer support site. Use the order lookup link in the receipt, or go to ClickBank’s support center and choose the order lookup option.
  3. Enter your order number and email address to open the order.
  4. Choose “Get Support”, then “Refund Request”, select a reason and submit.
  5. Keep the confirmation email. ClickBank typically allows a short period for the vendor to respond before the refund is issued, and your bank may take several more business days to post it.

Three things to know

Refunds cover what you paid ClickBank, not hardware you bought elsewhere. If you ordered the printed book, check the shipping and returns terms on the vendor’s page, since postage is often not refundable. And request the refund through ClickBank before disputing the charge with your card issuer; a chargeback can slow things down.

How to avoid needing one

  • Run your climate through the calculator. Under two gallons a day, do not buy.
  • Price the hardware first using our parts table.
  • Decide how you will power it during an outage.
  • Read the manual in the first week and decide before buying parts. The 60-day clock starts at purchase.

Where to complain if something goes wrong

  • Billing or access problems: ClickBank order support.
  • Questions about the manual: the vendor’s product support form on waterfreedomsystem.com.
  • Deceptive advertising: the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, or your state attorney general.
  • A refund refused inside 60 days: your card issuer’s dispute process, with the ClickBank correspondence attached.

Common questions

Does the Water Freedom System have a money-back guarantee?

Yes: 60 days, administered by ClickBank under its standard return policy.

How long does a ClickBank refund take?

Usually a few business days from the request to approval, then several more for the bank to post the credit.

Can I get a refund after building the device?

Yes, if you are still inside the 60-day window. The refund covers the guide, not the parts.

Are there Water Freedom System complaints on the BBB or Reddit?

We did not find a meaningful body of verified complaints on either. Discussion that does exist centers on the same points listed above: digital-only delivery and output that depends on humidity.
